Worth It?

Problem:

Consumerism is rampant and puts unnecessary strain on consumers. It causes tangible, negative effects.

Solution:

Worth It? is a poster campaign promoting Buy Nothing Day and raising awareness about the obsessive nature of consumer buying habits. Shelved products (including stacks of fast fashion brands, Labubu dolls, and iPhones) represent this obsession, which is on full display during the Black Friday promotion season. These products are showcased alongside the copy line and call to action: "Worth It? 11.28.25. Buy Nothing Day (Not Black Friday)." The goal of the poster series is to communicate the message in the most cost-effective manner. The posters are therefore placed in high-traffic outdoor areas where many people can interact with the work, including public transit spaces, shopping centers, and recreational parks.
